Pdf document

I downloaded the pdf document named life history of vallalar from vallalar.org.it does not rendered properly ie images and words are not positioned correctly.they cannot be readable.in windows reader it is fine.i like ubuntu.please help

I tried accessing the website but I got the message that it doesn't exist.

Anyways, it sounds like they pdf is using fonts that aren't installed on your computer for ubuntu. It is difficult to know what fonts they are if I can't see the document. However, there is a way to transfer truetype fonts from windows to ubuntu.

leave this open and someone who knows how to install ttf fonts will post an answer. i think it's actionparsnip.

Just install the original pdf reader. it's available on their website. It will work in exactly the same way as on Windows computer.

Did you use default document reader to view the file?
