I want PDF to text

Asked by Pepe

I am able to use Document viewer to copy straight columns that I can highlight. However some two column will only highlight the entire page with the results of having each column line alternating. If I can highlight only one column, I can transfer to gedit and from there it is easy. Thanks, I am almost there.

I eagarly await these pearl of wisdom. Unfortunately the magic word is "terminal" And regrettably ii tis terminal. Sorry
I can only use GUI, and I have been informed that Linux will in 2030 have GUI in all their application just likie Windows, and Apple. Until then I have to do the best I can. Thanks
