duplex printing with HP LaserJet 1020

Asked by balkrishna_29@yahoo.com

Dear Experts

I have HP LaserJet 1020 printer. In window OS there is a GUI for manual duplex printing.
How equivqlent facility is available in Ubuntu 9.1? or How hp-toolbox can be used for the same purpose.

Thanks for your attention.

If you install the latest HPLIP it will be an option in the printing preferences. Get the installation script from the HPLIP site.

duplex printing doesnt seem to work. I got an hp 1200 (over samba) and while i sent to print in both pages it doesnt take the command.

Also note that the same happens if I use my windows 7 laptop for printing with the default drivers (hp hasnt released 'extra' software-drivers for those old models, so you cant find anything else than the default)

Can you help with this problem?
