Can you explain this a little further?

Are you looking for an application that converts currencies or do you mean preferences in, e.g. OpenOffice?

Hello

you can use keurocalc

http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/kde/keurocalc

you need to have extra repositories enabled..
To enable all the software repositories do ref this link..

http://psychocats.net/ubuntu/sources

after getting all the required repositories enabled

Type the following command in a terminal (applications -> accessories -> terminal)

sudo aptitude install keurocalc

Regards

Bhavani Shankar.

To change currency in eqonomize you need to change locale in kde.
To do this you need open file /home/`whoami`/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals and add|change section [Locale] like this (in my case country is Russia):
=============================
[Locale]
Country=ru
Language=
=============================
