Issue: I would like there to be a tutorial or if I figure this out maybe I could add one

I would like some sort of simple tutorial about using this program.. showing an example of a hypothetical person's economy , like having to pay for house rent, or loan rent, and for food and electricity.

I take no steps (as it asks below) because I don't know what to do.

It is not a tutorial as such but have you tried the Eqonomise Handbook? It is very well written and includes step-by-step instructions. The handbook states:

When first using Eqonomize! you should read Chapter 2, Using Eqonomize! especially the first parts the section called “Accounts & Categories” and the section called “Transactions”, which step by step describes how to begin using the basic features.

Chapter 3, Accounting with Eqonomize! provides a more theoretic explanation and description of Eqonomize!' approach to accounting.
