how to set up epiphany as default browser

I would like to set up Epiphany as my default browser so that when I follow links in emails they open in epiphany.

This is easy to set up in other browsers, ie. Fire Fox and Opera but I have not figured out how to in epiphany

System → Preferences → Prefered Applications doesn't work?

It also depends on application - some (e.g. gajim) have special option to set appliaction to open links etc.

I had thought the setting was in the browser... silly me!
