xsession-errors: (eom:26650)

Asked by Peter Veltmans

In the file .xsession-errors (in home-folder) there appeared this error:

"(eom:26650): EOM-WARNING **: 13:18:49.567: Error loading Eom typelib: Typelib file for namespace 'Eom', version '1.0' not found"

What does this mean? What can be done about it?

Seems to be a known issue.
https://github.com/mate-desktop/eom/issues/153

I suggest you report a bug. You can start the process with:

ubuntu-bug eom

Maybe others can advise. Do other viewers work OK?

Thanks actionparsnip !

Actually, the 'eye of gnome' just works as it should be. I have no problem whatsoever opening pictures and the like with it. Its just that there was this mention appearing in the file 'x-session-errors' in my homefolder. That made me curious. If it is a known issue, I'm sure it will eventually be ironed out. No real need (I think) to add what is already known. Thanks again for your interest, though. Really appreciate it!
