put items in trash I need to retreive error says no data available but I have not deleted them from trash. Can I retrieve the data. movies and pictures.

I put movie clips and photos in the trash bin so I could retrieve them later. It is no problem on my other computer; but when I tried to upload the images an error message said no data available. I want to make sure that there is no way for me to retrieve these images before I delete them from the trash bin.
