The Philips VoIP 321 is a Skype phone so you need to install Skype.

Go to the Skype site: http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linux/choose/
select Ubuntu 7.04+. That will download a ".deb" file. Doulble click on the downloaded file and it will install.

If there are any other files needed, the GDebi Package Installer will advise you and you can then get these files out of the repository.

It is most likely that the software on your cd was written for Windows and therefore will not work in Linux.

Why don't you contact Philips to ask them for a Linux driver for their product?

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Toni Losonc for more information if necessary.
