how to crop a screen capture

Asked by Tom Garrison on 2011-07-08

I use the print screen function. It prints a screen. When I open it with Eye of GNOME 2.32.1, it shows the whole screen. I want to crop the screen to just one portion of the screen. How do I do that?

You can easily crop any image by installing and using gimp package

OK. I thought I figured it out. Yes, you are right. Right mouse click on the picture, and there is Gimp. Looks like I will have to take some time to navigate it.
