magicjack

magicjack is not really supported under linux (and thus Ubuntu).

If you own a legal copy of windows you could use the PUEL version of VirtualBox (the version direct from Oracle, NOT the version in the Ubuntu repository which doesn't support USB devices), to try using MagicJack in a Virtual Machine [NOTE: I don't know for certain that this would work either, just something to try].

Wine is able to run many windows program but not all.

Shows a rating of "Garbage" I'm afraid. A virtual machine is probably your best bet (but I have not found any posts that claim a working status).
