Laptop Webcam Driver

I have an integrated webcam in my laptop and Ububtu doesn't recognize it at all. I've looked around and I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work, anyone able to help me out?
I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S6946

Try installing cheese.
Start it and see if you get any response...

Also open up a terminal (Applications -> Accessorices -> Terminal)
in it type "lspci" hit enter

Hi I have a similar problem too. I have a Asus Eee pc 1001P with Intle atom N450. Webcam works fine with chesse, but doesn't work with empathy, pidgin or any other web messaging clients
