can anyone help me recover my contacts?

after having a list of contacts, i found that if dragged around the window they will disappear forever. at least that's what it seems like to me. I have a habit of dragging things around while waiting, what i did was grab one of my contacts and drop in a different spot, but it disappear from view.

 the contact is still there and it can communicate with me, in the other hand i cant reply to them or begin a conversation it doesn't even show them off line.

You could have moved the contact under different category
