Why do I get authentication failed in empathy with the MSN protocol?

Asked by ZyaX

I am 100% sure I have not written account info wrong. Because I write it almost every day normally.
However, I was using pidgin in windows 7, but now I am trying with empathy in ubuntu.
I have a password longer than 20 characters, could this be a problem?

Hello i don't know if that is the reason but I have lots of bugs and crashes with empathy.
I recomend you to Install Pidgin in my opinion is much better, Pidgin is in the Ubuntu software center or the add/revome menu (depends of your Ubuntu Version)
Installing Pidgin will cause you a lot of less headaches...

Hope this help you!
Pablo
