Setup of webcam for Samsung R580

I just began using Ubuntu. Love it but I have issues. I have a Samsung r580 laptop. I used to use Yahoo messenger for webcam chats with my bro in Afghanistan...US ARMY..Go Army...What do I use now? I cant seem to download Yahoo Messenger even though I can access Yahoo.

Install Cheese from the Synaptic Package Manager.

yahoo messenger doesn't work on linux systems. use empathy that comes with ubuntu instead.
