Configure SIP provider "Nymgo" in Ubuntu/Empathy IM

Hi,

I am using Nymgo SIP a lot to make international call, i tried to configure it to Empathy IM, but i never let me log in, please help me as Nymgo softphone is available for windows only.

I can config Nymgo on phone via fring, please let me know if there is any solution like this for ubuntu

Try another softphone. I have always found Twinke (available from Repository) to be good. It looks rubbish, but it works well.

tried Twinke as well as Empathy, but both of them didn't work out, can anybody help me with configuration in Twinke

Try http://www.twinklephone.com/ and click on manual.

http://www.nymgo.com/sip-device.php has the necessary settings for you to use. The page does have settings for PC Voip Softphone (X-Lite). X-Lite is available but it is flash based and heavy on memory.

It also does say "Please do not hesitate to contact <email address hidden> for further assistance."
