google chat history

When I use google chat from the gmail interface, all of my chats are saved so that I can go back and search them later from within my gmail account. Is there a way to get the gmail chats that I send and receive from empathy to be searchable in my gmail account for later reference?

Definitely, open empathy press F3 or go to view > previous conversations.

i do not know about whether you can access from gmail account or not.
