Unable to differentiate an contact account from another. (No indicators of what technology used gmail, msn etc.)

Asked by dl.zerocool

Hello,

At the moment there's no way to see differences between a contact that is currently using gmail for example and the same contact using msn.

If I want to write to someone, I have to wait the popup to see what email adress and what technology is he using.

It would be really nice to add a small logo to status icons to say what the contact is using.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

In empathy 2.29.93 you have the option in view>show protocols which will add an icon of the protocol to the contact. you can try out the development release from this ppa https://launchpad.net/~telepathy/+archive/ppa

thank you :)
That's exactly what I was looking for.
(By the way it should be enabled by default asap as you add more than one protocol).

Best regards.
