What happened to emerald-themes?

Asked by Rohan Agrawal

Back in feisty, there was a package emerald-themes which contained a number of themes for emerald. This package disappeared from Ubuntu after feisty. Does anybody know why?

In any case, I've revived the package in my ppa: https://launchpad.net/~agrawalr/+archive/ppa.

It's sad... but it's because of this so called "bug":
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emerald-themes/+bug/124661

Emerald has been developed together with Beryl... and as Beryl is back in mother Compiz...

The main problem seems to be (from the point of NOW and not 2 years ago when the so called ubuntu-devs canceled it) that emerald-themes is stuck at version 0.5.2 while emerald itself is now at 0.8.x (or even 0.9?) by upstream.

Greetings

ps: Thanks for the PPA-Versions!!! :-D

Can you help with this problem?
