Where does the cert and private key come from?

Asked by Tgn Yang

Hello,
I'm trying to sign an ELF excutable file using this signing tool, but I don't know wher the certs and the private key comes from.
I use the certs and private key exported from openssl, but it failed with "failed to sign elf image 'helloworld'".

Would it be the matter of my certificate or the private key? If so, could you please tell me how to solve it?

Thanks.
Tgn

The elfsign package is no more available on Ubuntu (the latest version was from 2005 and has been removed due to a security weakness that has never been corrected, see also https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=555668 )

So please do not expect an answer on your question.
