I am new to all of this, where can I go for answers to complex quetsions?

How does all of this work? I can find my way around the computer but this is the first time I have ever used Ubuntu. I am soooo in the learning stages of everything and could use some good one-on-one tech support. Is there a manual or something somewhere to help me? What is Ekiga phone? I guess I'm a 40 year old virgin to this thing! Can anyone help me? Is there a way I can do some of the old windows apps like quick books on Ubuntu? All in all, I really love this thing though!!!!
