Cannnot add an address book from my account in voipwise to Ekiga

Hi. I cannot add an address book from my account (voipwise.com) to ekiga 2.0.12. It's asking about Type, Hostname, Port, Base DN, Search Scope and Search Attribute, which i do not know. Here is a pic of it: http://pic.ipicture.ru/uploads/090717/fb0PNRtl7u.png Can somebody help me, please?

It is very unlikely that voipwise offers per-user-addressbooks via LDAP, so this feature will not work. If they do, ask them for parameters.

Actually, I don't know how to get my address book from voipwise into ekiga. Is it possible at all?

Hi,

You need to ask them if their address book use the "LDAP" technology (this a well know standard), if so, ask them for parameters. But it is indeed unlikely. Beside ekiga 3.2.x has a much better support of "LDAP".
