Hello,

Unfortunately Google Talk does not support the standard (SIP) for now.

The complete list of programs working with Ekiga is here:

Hi,

Ekiga can use the SIP protocole, while GoogleTalk use the Jingle protocole.

1- You can use freeswitch to transcode SIP<->Jingle protocoles:
http://www.freeswitch.org/

2- You can use the free (as in beer) service gtalk-to-Voip to transcode:
http://www.gtalk2voip.com/

Regards,
Yannick

Now available: Empathy supports voice chat with GTalk.
On a command line, type:
sudo aptitude install empathy
