Ekiga Sip user could not register (transport error)

i am trying to add an account to Ekiga it is giving me user could not register (transport error)
although i have a different ubuntu machine the same user register directly

i run the program from commad line as root to see the logs
(ekiga:4124): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 2003 was not found when attempting to remove it
(ekiga:4124): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 2114 was not found when attempting to remove it
(ekiga:4124): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 2122 was not found when attempting to remove it
(ekiga:4124): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 2129 was not found when attempting to remove it
(ekiga:4124): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 2136 was not found when attempting to remove it

please anyhelp

i tried different software phones yate works but no voice

thank you Andrew for your time but it was a port issue
there was a user call repor that was using the port 5060 so when i killed the process and removed the user
the program work
