Bt headset mic-volume not reacting

Asked by Meik

Hi Together,
I am trying to use my old "BTH 808" bluetooth headset with "btsco v0.4c" and Ekiga 2.0.1. on Ubuntu 6.06.1. Everything is working fine, just the microfone volume is neither reacting on the Ekiga-mic-controller nor effectively on the "BT Headset (alsamixer)"-mic-controller and it is too loud/sensible for talking. When I use the "BT Headset (alsamixer)"-mic-controller there is reaction in the terminal, like:
---
speaker volume 8 mic volume 9
...
speaker volume 8 mic volume 3
---
But there is still no change in mic-loudness on the talking-partner-side or visible at the small light-bar in Ekiga while I am talking.
On the other hand speaker-volume is working perfectly in Ekiga and with "BT Headset (alsamixer)"-master-controller and shows also terminal-reaction:
---
speaker volume 8 mic volume 3
...
speaker volume 2 mic volume 3
---

thx for help, ideas or just reading!
best regards Meik
p.s.: I am Linux-beginner

I seem to have the same problem - Mic loudness does not change, no matter what.

Apart from that I get a loot of noise both when recording or listening.
