For diagnostic purposes, what output do you get for the commands

sudo efibootmgr
sudo efibootmgr --verbose -t 5 -b 0004

I am not sure whether you can combine "global" settings (like -t 5) with the flag to select a single boot entry (-b 0004). What exactly do you expect that this command does?
