What is the output of:

apt-cache policy eclipse-jdt; lsb_release -a; uname -a

It seems that the downloaded package file is broken.

Try

sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/eclipse-jdt_3.8.1-5.1_all.deb

and then re-try the installation.
