ecflow-client package missing files in bionic

Asked by marcofgalli

Dear all,
I'm trying to use the ecflow software on ubuntu 18.04 installed from the ubuntu package repositories.
As launching the executable ecflow_ui, the execution stops because some system files are not found (e.g. /usr/share/ecflow/etc/ecflowview_menus.json). As far as I understood, the system files that are missing should be provided with the installation package.
I saw that the above example file and other similar ones are indeed present in the corresponding debian package. What got wrong in importing the debian package into ubuntu? Did anyone test the real usability of the software in ubuntu?

You have reported a bug which is god. This will get the package updated.

You don't need a question as well.

Can you help with this problem?
