There's one PPA with it at 2.0.2

I (and probably others) prefer most recent version :)

I saw Zak's PPA but it's an older release and also he says that it's a testing repo and he warns that it might not work. That's why People mostly prefer a to use packages from ubuntu packages. I also managed to compile package from source on 16.04 LTS. I thought it won't be a big deal for you to back port.
