Tileset not found: curses_640_x300.png

I can't launch dwarf fortress via command line on my 32 bit pc, it keeps bringing up the error above and says it should be in data/art

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy dwarf-fortress

Does it really mention this file name (with two underscore characters)?
A file with the name curses_640x300.png (with one underscore) is provided by the package dwarf-fortress-data.
