dreamchess package

unable to start dreamchess in jaunty

i am using jaunty and dreamchess 0.2.0-1 from the repo
there is no entry in the games menu and i am unable to start it from terminal either.
this is the output

manish@manish-laptop:~$ dreamchess
DreamChess v0.2.0 (r577)
manish@manish-laptop:~$

any help?

Start dreamchess with -v3 parameter (dreamchess -v3).

But this seems to be a bug -- jaunty is development version, so the best think is to fill a bugreport...

i have filed a bug report at https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dreamchess/+bug/329163

i have attached the output with -v3 parameter there.
by the way what does -v3 parameter do? sorry, i am a noobi.

It only shows more informations from the program (warnings atd.)
