Dragon player is crashing everytime when playing .wmv file

I am using Kubuntu 10.10 and the system is up to date but when I am trying to play any .wmv file the Dragon player is crashing every time. But if I play any other file like mp4 then if I drag the .wmv file on the player it playing the .wmv file. In another way if I play the file as opening the Dragon player first, then going to the play file tab ,then locate the .wmv file , then the file is also playing. It only fails to play by double clicking the file or open with Dragon player. But there is no problem with vlc.

Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; dpkg -l | grep -i dragon

When I am trying to report a bug it is saying that I should install a debug packages the information is

Do you want to install the following debug packages so that the necessary debug symbols become available?
kdemultimedia-dbg

what shoul I do?

just run:

ubuntu-bug dragonplayer

and the bug log will be initiated.
