release update v2.2.32+ for Dovecot performance tuning

Asked by Felipe

mail_location = ...:VOLATILEDIR=/tmp/dovecot-volatile/%2.256Nu/%u moves e.g. lock files to the volatile directory. This is helpful especially if mail_location otherwise points to a remote filesystem like NFS. (v2.2.32+)

If acl plugin is used, but only global ACLs are needed, set acl_globals_only=yes (v2.2.31+)

What is the real question here?

If you want to suggest a version update of dovecot in Ubuntu, there is already a bug report about that, see Bug #1712899

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Felipe for more information if necessary.
