OLD DOS programs

I am an accountant and like my old DOS acct software which runs fine on win 95 and 98SE I am not able to run this on Xp Can I install a appropriate version of Ubuntu which would accept my old Dos software.?

You can try the emulator dosemu, to install it just open a terminal,
(Apllications > Accesories > Terminal) then type:

    sudo aptitude install dosemu

I hope that this help you and work :D

You can try the program dosbox or the build in dos-thing in XP called cmd. To launch it press WIN R and then write in cmd. Now you have a small dos-a-like thing.
