dosemu filesystem suggestions

Asked by John Sowden

I am trying to set up dosemu on ubuntu 11.10. I want to access the data files across a LAN so I thought i would use a linux journal fs instead of vfat or fat32. Will this work? I don't like use links to dance among directories to finally land where I want to find my data, so can I put the directory of the mounted files system in the dosemu config file. I am also looking for suggestions.
I am trying to set up file systems to write to from dosemu, but one with sudo I am told that changing the owner from root to me is 'operation not permitted.'

Thanks

DOS only supports FAT.
