"BROKEN TRANSLATION" in Dolphin's status bar: what's that?

Whenver I open Dolphin (0.9.2 with KDE 3.5.10) in the status bar I read a "BROKEN TRANSLATION" message.
I am running an Italian locale here nut don't understand whether that message is an application error, a translation error or what else.
