I cannot get dolphin to send email using thunderbird

I defined thunderbird as my default mail app in KDE but Dolphin won't let me send email through its email attachment functionality using thunderbird.

Thanks for your question.

I think it would help if you could describe what exactly happens or not happens. It is difficult to try to guess and mindread when a problem is not enough described. Just a tip :)

When I define Thunderbird as the default mail application in KDE and then in Dolphin I select a file and click the 'mail as attachment' button dolphin attempts to launch kmail. When I remove kmail dolphin looks for kmail and not the default KDE mail application.

Is that better?
