Asked by Florent Georges

  Hi,

I am surprise the version of Website used in the current package is 2.5.0 while 2.6.0 has been released for years. Is there any particular reason? If it is just because a lack of time or interest, how could I help?

  Regards,

Not sure what the reason is.

You can files a request for a new package, and/or help with the backport process. Any contribution will be appreciated. To file a request you will have to create a new bug report in the Backports Product of Launchpad. Choose a good summary that will quickly indicate the requested package needed (e.g. "Please backport Bittornado"). Indicate the current version of the package and version you would like. Please check to see if the requested version has entered Gutsy (and Hardy), and let us know to make our lives easier!

For additional information on backports please read

Hope this helps

  Hi,

Sorry for the automatic message, but I can say the same thing: "thanks, that solved my question". I am reading through the backports page, I will fill in a request. Not sure I have to knowledge to build it myself, but if no one does, I will try instead of making a custom install.

Thanks for the answer, very clear and with references.
