Hi ,

I don't know if this is what you asked for , but you can see detailed informations with Dmidecode.

Here , lets take a look .

Open a terminal (Ctrl+alt+t Combo keys) and write

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
sudo dmidecode -t 6,17
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It will ask for your password . Write it carefully , cuz you will see nothing (like no write at all , this is normal). Press Enter for results.

You will see detailed info (speed included) about RAM module and RAM device.

You can read more about dmidecode tool with

+++++++++++++++++++++
man dmidecode
+++++++++++++++++++++

Be aware that the detailed results depended on how OEM filled the info.

Thanks

Oh.. I am sorry . Not read your question well.

You want to "Adjust" the speed , not to see details about hardware (RAM) . OK. Consider 1st answer as an extra tip :)

This can be happen only from BIOS and be aware that not all BIOS support this function.

Boot in the BIOS configuration page and see if supports RAM speed or/and Voltage , BUT BE CAREFUL with such Hacking- Over-clocking = Dangerous.

Thanks

You'd do that in BIOS, not in The OS

Can you help with this problem?
