BAD INDEX-DMI TABLE IS BROKEN

Asked by Yugal

I have recently installed Ubuntu 10.10 in my desktop which has P-III Processor, 384 MB of RAM and 80 GB HDD. I have successfully installed the system, but when I try to boot it, it flashes a message "asit-BAD-INDEX-Invalid-entry-length-0-DMI-table-is-broken-Stop". I could'nt understand what is going on? (as I am a newbee for ubuntu). Please anyone suggest me how to overcome?
