When will the Ubuntu version catch up with upstream?

Hi
Couple of questions really.
Upstream has recently tagged version 2.2.0.0, when will we be using that?
and slightly related,
Will bug fixes get rolled back to LTS releases? I've had to roll my own deb as I needed the fix in #702638.

Just updated the version in oneiric, don't expect that will backport to LTS releases at this time.
