I can't install displayconfig-gtk in Ubuntu 9.04

When I am installing it, terminal writing error:

./displayconfig-gtk --data-dir=data

what can I do to install it?

     Hi. Just checking through and had to look displayconfig-gtk up on the net (it isn't even listed for Ubuntu 9.04 in Package Manager). So I'll ask first, what version of Ubuntu are you using? It was apparently dropped in 8.04 because "Xorg supports hotplugging and autodetection" (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=996478 ). So to really help with this, if you need it, we need info about what version of Ubuntu you are using and maybe what version of displayconfig-gtk.

It is bad. I wanted to increase the resolution of external monitor. In the settings of the monitor is not 1280x1024 mode.
