program Displaycalibrator wont save

Asked by m david garrison

Just installed Displaycalibrator. Its a program for adjusting monitor gamma. Program seems to work fine. can adjust colors and brightness. The save button is greyed out. I can not save any of the settings.
The calibration information can not b saved. Went to freshmeat.com. It said that I do not have the right permissions. I have not
been able to find any documentation for this software. Got it out of the ubuntu software center. tried going into my file permissions. i am the aministrator. Would a sudo command help? I am new to the command line. Could someone help?
Thanks. Dave
