Diodon shortcut not working

Asked by Ioannis Christodoulou

I've tried several key combinations and the diodon menu is not showing (using Ctrl-Alt-V).
I've added ppa:diodon-team/stable and updated diodon through that, but I still cannot make the diodon menu to open through shortcut. Further, the updated diodon does not even show the hotkey tab in the preferences.
Was the hotkey functionality removed completely?

Amazing! It works and now I think you really nailed it! Perhaps you can also add a label in the preferences with a link to that post, so that it becomes clear how to set it up.

Thank you very much!

As per release notes the way how keybindings are registered has changed. Have a look at https://esite.ch/2015/07/using-custom-shortcuts-of-de-as-diodon-hotkey/ for more details.

Hope this explains.
