How to crop a photo

I have installed digiKam and when I need assistance it will not lauch the Help Center.

 I need to know how to crop a picture.

I looked at the answer for question # 60063 but I don't know where the rectangular select tool is located.

I use gthumb

You can quickly view images as well as crop them easily. I don't use digikam myself as I find its functionality redundant but gthumb has easy cropping abilities
