How to crop??

In the image editor the 'Crop' in the Transform drop down box is not "on" or working for tiff files. Is there something I am not seeing or getting to turn this on?

Hi :)

I usually use the "rectangular select tool" to define the area first and then adjust the area a bit and then go up to the "Image" menu and crop to selection.

Do you know if it's "Gimp" that you are using? Go up to "Help" and then down to "About" that should give the name of the program and it's version number.

I am using DigiKam; I apologize for not making that more clear. I was hoping to be able to do this in DigiKam; however I haven't figured it out.

It's ok. I just haven't used it so i can only try to help a bit with Gimp.
