property Bar Closed

The Right Hand Property/Tagging Bar will not open.
The bar is in place correctly .. the icons are seen and open correctly in the downward direction but the bar will not open to full width and cannot be dragged open.
Has anybody come across this before? ... I guess a reinstall would be my only option!

Hmm. Maybe you can try to move the edge bar between the properties bar and the pictures to the left.Then you can see the information. The thin edge bar. It's too narrow so you can not see the info. Just widen it.

The arrow(s) show correctly for moving the bar but do not work.

This problem may have started when I used 'showFoto' (obviously a sister program of 'digiKam'). In showFoto the side panels worked correctly before and still work correctly.

I have tried in both minimize and full screen modes.

I now find that when a SEARCH has been initiated in the Left Property Bar ... the search needs to be Closed/Deleted otherwise the Right Property Bar is locked shut.

This indicates that keeping and reusing previous searches is not possible.

I would consider this to be a bug ... anyway I am back in business.
