Maintaining an edit window size in Digikam

Asked by David Vincent-Jones

Editing in DigiKam requires several windows to be opened for the individual Enhancements, Transformations and Filters.
As opened the windows are too small to use and need to be resized ... bit of a nuisance .. and time consuming.
Is there a way to set a default window position and size?

Hi !

As far as I am concerned, the "edit window" remember the settings of the last time I opened it. Doesn't it happen to you ?

Olivier;

The main EDIT window maintains its size but after that the individual Edit Processes such as "COLOR > COLOR-BALLANCE .. or ..ENHANCE > SHARPEN all retreat to a rather small and unusable size. These windows need to be of a size that the color is clearly discerned.

I'm not sure what is the current standard but intrepid does not seem to remember the window settings of an application from the last time I opened it. Am I missing something?

I think hardy had better control over the default window sizes. Should I file a bug?
