Digicam 1.20 does not work with Canon ixus V3 (S230)

Digikam recognizes the camera, but when trying to import it will just say "connection failed" etc. as if the camera weren't connected. F-Spot works ok with the cam (can show & dl the pics), but I wish to use only one sw.

I tried using PTP and normal modes, the same results. Also connecting the cam's usb cable to laptop before/after launching digikam results the same.

Here's lsusb output:
heli@heli-laptop:~$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 012: ID 04a9:3070 Canon, Inc. PowerShot S230

mount & fdisk don't show anything related to the cam.

Ok, it's solved by using f-spot to do the file transfer.
