diffpdf file #2 button missing

Asked by dgermann

I pull up diffpdf and it has only a file #1 button. I can get a second file to compare by doing alt-2, but it still only shows one document on the screen, the left-hand panel. Even tried stretching the diffpdf screen across all three monitors I have, but it only makes the left-hand panel wider.

Running Ubuntu 12.04 and diffpdf 1.2.2

I reinstalled and then completely uninstalled and reinstalled and get same behavior.

Should have two screens, right and left, with one document in left and the second in right so I can see both at once and see what differences it found.

Thanks!

Actually, it is not a bug (unless in my use of the program). Turns out (the developer responded to a separate email I sent him) that I was pulling the mouse the wrong direction!

If I hover the mouse on the border between the Controls and the view panel (indicated by light gray vertical lines) until the cursor changes to <=> or similar; then click and drag left now I can see both view panels. I had been trying to drag right.
